In their second group match against the record champions, Ghana aimed to secure a victory to enhance their chances of progressing to the next round. However, they could only manage a draw, with Mohammed Kudus scoring an impressive brace.

Despite Kudus’s efforts, goals from Marmoush and Mustapha Mohamed secured a point for Rui Victoria’s side, who had previously drawn 2-2 with Mozambique.

Ghana now has just one point from two games and faces a crucial final group match against Mozambique on Monday, January 22.
