Nana Kwame Bediako, also known as Freedom Jacob Cesar, ends the silence regarding the individual behind the mask of ‘The New Force.’
In a press conference organised by The Convention, notable speakers for the event, such as Peter Obi from Nigeria, Dr. Arikana from Zimbabwe, and Prof. PLO Lumumba from Kenya, were in attendance when Jacob made the revelation.
“I intend for my absence to make an impact, and I’m aware that’s why you’re searching for the man; the man in the mask is right in front of you,” he said.
In various reports, ‘The Convention,’ originally scheduled to take place at Independence Square to unveil the man behind the mask, experienced a no-show. The speakers and artists slated for the event were allegedly instructed to return to their respective hotels by Police and National Security officials.
The motive or reason behind this action remains unclear. Further details will follow.
The New Force emerged in recent months as a new political movement.
Except for a few billboards and public advertisements of a faceless individual, little is known about the movement that has kept the nation and political watchers on edge until now.
A Belgian national, Shalimer Abbiusi, who came out as a spokesperson for the movement, was arrested and deported by Ghana’s Immigration Service in December for using forged documents to acquire a resident permit.
Her deportation was tagged by the New Force as a politically motivated event that defiled her human rights.
