The founder and leader of the Glorious Word Power Miracles Church International, Bishop Isaac Owusu Bempah, has publicly criticised the Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng, calling him “ungrateful.”
Speaking to his congregation, Owusu Bempah revealed that he had nurtured and mentored Reverend Kusi Boateng for many years. He claimed that Kusi Boateng ignored his calls when he got into trouble with the authorities a few years ago.
“A young man who through me God helped, Victor Kusi Boateng, then you are with Dampare and the Vice President, and I am calling because Chairman Wontumi asked me to call. When I was calling you as a friend and brother, I called more than 10 times, and he didn’t pick up.
“Then someone from the inside called me to tell me that Victor said he wouldn’t pick up my call and that they should do to me whatever they were doing to me, but this is someone that I brought up… Victor Kusi Boateng cannot deny that I brought him up and that it was through me that he travelled. I said all that in the recording, I don’t fear. I spoke to plenty of people out of anger,” he said.
Reverend Owusu Bempah was reacting to the contents of a viral audio in which he was captured threatening the Inspector-General of Police, George Akuffo Dampare, and the president. He made it clear that all disagreements with the IGP and other major politicians had been settled, and that he was at peace with all of them at this moment in time.
