National Chief Imam Urges IGP, To Stop Owusu Bempah On Fake Prophesies Against Him

, Ghana Street Journal

As Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah continues to make his reputation a topic of disputed prophecy, the office of the National Chief Imam requested that the IGP and the Christian community intervene to prevent the leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International from further stirring tensions and bring him to order.

Dr. Mohammed Azindoo, the Chief Imam’s trusted adviser, issued a statement to the press in which he cautioned Owusu Bempah against mistaking the Chief Imam’s religious tolerance for weakness.

The National Chief Imam, Sheikh Dr. Usman Nuhu Sharubutu, has been the target of allegations that the divisive Man of God made comments that were insulting to Muslims.

According to one quote, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah said that he has been consulted by the National Chief Imam and other dignitaries to predict their future.

However, Rev. Owusu Bempah’s statements have been urged to be ignored by the Office of the National Chief Imam.

“We would want to make it clear that Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah’s assertions are entirely made up and not supported by any evidence.”
