Megan Thee Stallion will host and perform at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, marking her first time leading an award show. The event is set to air live on September 11, 2024, at 8 p.m. Eastern from the UBS Arena on Long Island, New York.
The award show was moved back a day due to the forthcoming U.S. presidential debate scheduled for September 10.

This year’s VMAs promise a star-studded lineup, with Taylor Swift leading the nominations with 12 nods, followed closely by Post Malone with 11. Eminem is slated to open the show, returning to the stage for the first time in two years.

Other performers include Katie Perry who will also receive the Video Vanguard Award, Benson Boone, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, GloRilla, Halsey, LISA, Rauw Alejandro, Karol G, Halsey, GloRilla, Sabrina Carpenter, and many others.

Megan’s hosting role comes after her previous guest appearances on shows like “Saturday Night Live” and “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” The 2024 VMAs are expected to be a highlight of the music calendar, showcasing the best in music videos and live performances.
