Known for his candid nature, Ras Kuuku made it clear that he values collaboration over conflict and is open to working with Kinaata if the opportunity arises.
When asked about the likelihood of collaborating with Kofi Kinaata, despite their ongoing tension, Ras Kuuku didn’t hesitate.
“If Kinaata is ready to set our differences aside and work together, I’m more than willing,” he stated. “At the end of the day, we’re both in this business to make music and grow the industry, not to hold onto conflicts.”
Kuuku added that holding onto resentment only hinders progress, calling it “foolish to refuse change or to keep old quarrels alive,” a statement that has added a new aura to entertainment news in Ghana.

During the 2020 Ghana Music Awards, Kuuku publicly criticized Mettle’s win for Artiste of the Year, questioning if a gospel artist could truly represent the entire industry in such a diverse music scene. The remarks sparked considerable controversy, leading to a strained relationship between the two.
However, when the opportunity came to perform on the same stage at Onua TV, Ras Kuuku took the initiative to break the ice.
“I approached Joe, and we spoke. It was an important moment for me because, ultimately, we’re all in the same space, trying to make good music,” he shared, hinting at a possible new beginning.
