FIFA is teaming up with the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to launch the FIFA Football for Schools project in Ghana.

This project, which is set to start from August 10 through August 12, intends to promote football in schools and support the sport’s overall growth in the nation.

Selected Physical Education (PE) teachers from every region of Ghana will participate in the program, and they will receive specialized training from FIFA professionals who will act as Trainee Trainers. In order to properly cascade the program’s advantages to a larger audience, these trained teachers will subsequently have the job of educating additional PE teachers in their respective regions.

The GFA’s dedication to promoting several facets of football in Ghana is highlighted by its partnership with FIFA.

After careful consideration of the extensive paperwork presented by the GFA, which complied with FIFA’s regulations, clearance for the implementation of the FIFA Football for Schools initiative in Ghana was given.

Expressing her excitement, Fatimata Sidibe, the Director of FIFA Football for Schools, stated, “After a thorough review of the documentation provided, the FIFA Football for Schools administration has decided to approve your application to start implementing the program in Ghana.”

The FIFA Football for Schools project is anticipated to have a substantial impact on Ghanaian schoolchildren’s exposure to football. The program seeks to improve the general growth of football at the grassroots level in the country by providing PE instructors with specialized training and enabling them to impart their knowledge.
