Black Stars midfielder Mohammed Kudus, has officially arrived at the team’s camp in Kumasi ahead of the 2023 AFCON.

Notably, he was accompanied by a physiotherapist from West Ham United, the club he currently plays for.

Kudus, who had missed Ghana’s pre-AFCON preparations and a friendly against Namibia due to an injury, is now set to travel with the squad to Ivory Coast, dispelling doubts about his participation in the tournament.

Reports suggest that Kudus experienced a tight hamstring following his last game with West Ham United.

The former Ajax player is expected to regain full fitness within 5-6 days, but unfortunately, he will not be available for Ghana’s opening match against Cape Verde.

Despite concerns about his readiness for the tournament, Kudus seems determined to contribute to the Black Stars’ campaign in the 2023 AFCON.

The tournament is scheduled to commence on January 13, 2023, with Ghana set to face Cape Verde in a Group B encounter on Sunday, January 14, at the Stade Felix Houphouet-Baigny in Abidjan.
