Sports presenter Saddick Adams, alias Sports Obama, is wishing the equivalent of Chef Failatu Abdul-Razak’s stamina and endurance for Ghana’s Black Stars ahead of the team’s participation in the upcoming African Cup of Nations (AFCON).
In a Twitter post sighted by Trunewsreport, the sports journalist expressed his wish for the Black Stars to exhibit endurance and stamina equal to that of Chef Faila, who has been on a cooking marathon since January 1, 2023.
“Chef Failatu’s stamina & endurance all I wish for the Black Stars,” he wrote.
Chef Faila’s Guinness World Record-breaking attempt has seen her embark on a cook-a-thon that has gained the attention and support of Ghanaians across the country.
Individuals, including celebrities and political figures, have been trooping to the Modern City Hotel in Tamale, where the event is taking place, to show support for Chef Faila.
Initially scheduled to last for five days, Chef Faila’s team has since announced an extension of the duration to ten days.
Meanwhile, Ghana’s Black Stars are scheduled to play Namibia in a friendly on Monday, January 8, 2023.
The 2023 AFCON tournament will be held between January 13 and February 11, 2024, in Ivory Coast.
Ghana is placed in Group B together with Egypt, Cape Verde and Mozambique.
