Ghana’s crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Chad is set to take place at the Accra Sports Stadium on March 17, 2025.

This marks a return to prominence for the capital’s iconic venue, reclaiming its status as the Black Stars’ primary home ground.

According to reports from Joy Sports, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has chosen not to submit any alternative venues for Confederation of African Football (CAF) inspection.

This decision follows CAF’s withdrawal of approval for other major stadiums, including the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi and the Cape Coast Stadium.

After undergoing extensive renovations, the Accra Sports Stadium is now ready to host high-profile international matches once again.

With the stakes high in Ghana’s World Cup qualification campaign, all eyes will be on the Black Stars as they battle Chad in front of their home supporters.
