Ghanaian comedian SKD Dele, whose real name is Saddick Sule, has reacted to a report by Citi News regarding Dr Mahamudu Bawumia‘s walk in Kumasi as part of his campaign in the Ashanti Region to secure votes for the upcoming 2024 presidential elections.
The comedian and food vlogger shared a video of the news item from Citi, which showcased Dr Bawumia being followed by a large crowd of New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters.
SKD Dele expressed his concern about the blocked roads and noise pollution, stating that it is unfair to the ordinary Ghanaian.
According to Citi News, in addition to the walk, the NPP flagbearer also visited the Black Stars on Sunday before their 2026 World Cup qualifier against the Central African Republic match on Monday.
During the event, GFA President Kurt Okraku expressed gratitude to Dr Bawumia for his efforts in providing logistical support to the Black Stars during their trip to Mali.
“Today marks an important day for us as football people as we get ready to battle out with the Central African Republic in a very important World Cup qualifier.
“Despite his heavy schedule, despite the fact that he has to be somewhere at this point in time, he has decided to pass through to wish your good selves and ourselves the best of luck as we get ready.”
“Your excellency, your team did a good job against Mali, winning 2-1 and with your support, we are here in Kumasi for the next match,” he stated.
However, SDK stated that all of this is unnecessary since it disrupts the normal flow of the day and hinders productivity in the long run.
