Stop Asking About The Source Of My Wealth—Cheddar To Ghanaians

Nana Kwame Bediako (Cheddar) seems to be tired of the constant scrutiny from Ghanaians regarding the source of his wealth and has he offered some advice to Ghanaians in a new interview.

The founder of the New Force believes that Ghanaians should shift their focus towards the positive impact they can make on the nation rather than questioning the source of their riches.

According to him, the persistent inquiry about his financial background is a form of judgment that fails to acknowledge the immense hard work and dedication he has invested in accumulating his wealth.

During his appearance on Asempa FM’s Ekosiisen on Tuesday, Mr Bediako stressed the importance of celebrating the accomplishments of successful individuals instead of criticizing or doubting them. He believes that by doing so, Ghanaians can not only appreciate their achievements but also gain valuable insights and inspiration from their journeys.

“If someone makes money and decides to spend it, I can’t question him. He can decide to use it for what he wants even if he wants to use his money to buy beer and khebab.”

He disclosed that he started making money by working for a telecommunication company, which he eventually sold and started selling scraps.

“It went from the scraps to collecting piles of scraps, then I give it to the steel yards. The steel yards are the ones who buy steel and right now a company like B5 also buys scraps which they use for iron rods and sell.”

“When I made my money, I started a business in Ghana and the business is what I’m investing in the country. So if Ghanaians don’t like this, then what do they like,” he asked.
