A lady who can be identified as Boahemaa has accused former Black Stars footballer John Paintsil of allegedly owing her and refusing to pay. According to her, John Paintsil borrowed GH₵15,000 some time ago from her but has since refused to reimburse it.
The lady literally charged at the former English Premier League star on Instagram after remaining silent over the issue, having tried unsuccessfully to retrieve her money. She asserted that John Paintsil has shut off communication with her because of the money he owed her and that he no longer returns her calls or texts when she asks about his plan to comment on her images.
Her post reads: “@john_painstil_official when are you paying my money? You can’t be owing me for almost two years now, be ignoring my calls & texts and decide to comment on my post. Respect yourself and do the needful. I don’t want to disrespect you”.
When the first confrontation occurred, a few people slammed the young lady for propagating falsehood against the distinguished star.
However, it appears that this is far from the case as she has since provided screenshots of their WhatsApp conversations to show that she is speaking the truth about the footballer allegedly owing her and is not doing it for attention.
In the discussion that resulted from the conversation, John Paintsil continually delayed when he would give her the money, and at one point he even sent her a voice message explaining why he had broken his promise to do so.
