According to a statement released by Dubai police on Saturday, Saudi footballer Fahad al-Muwallad has been placed in intensive care at a hospital in the UAE following a severe accident.

Al Shabab confirmed on Friday that the event involving al-Muwallad occurred on Thursday.

The Saudi consulate in Dubai stated on Sunday that it is aware of the situation and has sent medical and administrative personnel from the Saudi National team to the UAE to oversee al-Muwallad’s health status.
