Guru’s chances of winning the UG SRC Presidency have greatly boosted following endorsements from popular musicians Stonebwoy and Sarkodie at a recent event.
During the Pent Hall Week Artiste Night, Sarkodie urged the students to support Guru by voting for him massively.
He told the students if they wanted to see him again and put up the performance they witnessed, then they should vote for his friend.
He emphasized that Guru’s leadership will bring positive changes to the school and enhance opportunities for creatives within the community.
“If you want me to come here again then make Guru the President of the SRC,” he said indicating that he knows Guru and he will make a good leader.
Before this news, Tru News Report shared that Lilwin’s strong bond with rapper Guru was further solidified when he teamed up with him for a door-to-door campaign in preparation for the UG SRC elections.
Guru, known in real life as Maradona Yeboah Adjei, is vying for the position of president of the Student Representative Council at the University of Ghana.
His campaign efforts have been focused on showcasing his vision and plans for the university, to gain students’ support in representing their interests to the academic board.
A video circulating on social media captured Guru and Lilwin engaging with students in their hostels, going from room to room to share their message.
