Rapper Guru, who is now a student of the University of Ghana Legon, is preparing to participate in the upcoming SRC elections.
He is presently pursuing studies in Political Science and Information Studies. The serial hitmaker has expressed his desire to address important issues within the university community when he wins the elections.
In an interview with TV3 in Accra, he stressed the importance of finding practical solutions to tackle the challenges faced by students.
Some of his proposed initiatives include the creation of Legon Television, improving campus transportation services by adding more buses and introducing recreational activities to help reduce student stress.
He is heard saying:
“I’m currently studying with the University of Ghana in Political Science and Information Studies and I’m in my third year. I want to start there because I have seen the happenings and the kind of leader that people want. I’m looking forward to bringing Legon TV, students are tired of the radio station. We should have a Legon TV, the buses on campus are very few, we need to add more.”
