Ghanaian rapper Medikal has reaffirmed his belief in the timelessness of rap, asserting that the genre’s vibrancy in Ghana remains unshakable.
Speaking passionately in an exclusive interview with GhanaWeb’s Isaac Dazie, the “Omo Ada” hitmaker declared that as long as he breathes, rap will endure.
“Rap can never die. With people like me existing, rap can never be dead. Unless I’m dead,” he stated emphatically, his words dripping with the confidence and energy that have come to define his career.
Medikal’s journey in the music industry has been a testament to resilience and reinvention. Rising from Accra’s tough streets, he burst onto the scene with a style that blends hard-hitting lyrics with catchy hooks, earning him a spot among Ghana’s elite rappers.
