Ola Michael Bites Shatta Wale On Live TV As He Rubbishes French Ambassador’s Diplomatic Passport Call

Ola Michael has unequivocally stated that someone like Shatta Wale deserves no diplomatic passport, as espoused by former French ambassador Anne Sophie Avé.

The radio personality and former filmmaker went berserk and cast a slur on the honcho of the SM fraternity, saying his brand is too unattractive to deserve a diplomatic passport. According to Ola Michael, Wale’s penchant for insulting anyone who crosses his path, with or without any provocation, is enough to buttress his defiant posture.

He suggested that the other artistes Anne Sophie Avé proposed the diplomatic passports for deserve it but Wale doesn’t. The studio discussion was enacted at the latest edition of United Showbiz and was superintended by regular host MzGee, who expressed great surprise at Ola Michael’s submission.

Recall that Anne Sophie Avé has petitioned the government of Ghana to grant diplomatic status to some Ghanaian artistes in recognition of their outstanding representation of the nation in the international arena.

In a tweet on Sunday, July 30, 2033t, Anne Sophie Avé highlighted six Ghanaian music artistes who have been notably boosting Ghana’s reputation on the global stage, each with their own individual style and talent. Among the first pool of artists she wants to be the first beneficiaries of this initiative are SarkodieStonebwoy, Black Sherif, Shatta Wale, R2Bees, and King Promise.

Notably, Anne Sophie Avé played a pivotal role in organizing the ‘Accra In Paris’ concert in 2022, which showcased Ghanaian musical talent in the heart of France.

The occasion brought together prominent musicians, including Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, and Kwabena Kwabena, among others, and served as a dynamic celebration of Ghanaian music, art, and legacy.

Anne Sophie Avé joins the appeal made by a number of singers, notably Sarkodie, for the government to make it easier for artists to obtain diplomatic visas due to the influence they have on promoting Ghana’s image overseas.

Unfortunately, when it comes to international concerts, visa problems can occasionally present difficulties for musicians. A 2022 UNESCO research study on the diversity of cultural expressions found that visa-related difficulties, particularly for artists from Africa and other poor countries, frequently result in show cancellations or postponements.
