North West Opens Up About Faith, School, and Fashion Dreams

North West, the 11-year-old daughter of reality star Kim Kardashian and music mogul Kanye West, has graced the cover of Interview Magazine for its Fall 2024 issue.

During the interview, North shared her feelings on various subjects, including her discontent with school. Despite acknowledging her interest in art, she candidly admitted, “I don’t like school,” and described her art class as “very annoying.”

However, she did express a fondness for Latin, highlighting her unique interests amidst her academic challenges. This honest take on school life resonates with many young people who may feel similarly about their educational experiences.

One of the most poignant moments in the interview came when Kim asked North about a lesson she would never forget. Her response, “To trust God only,” reflects a depth of understanding that belies her young age.

North elaborated on how she helps others by spreading the gospel and guiding them in faith, showcasing her strong moral compass and desire to make a positive impact on those around her.

North also recounted what she considers “the best day” of her life, which took place during a family trip to Italy with her father.

She vividly described how she felt compelled to bring her siblings closer to God during the trip, even in the face of unsettling decor. “There were these devil statues, and I was like, ‘Mm-mm, mm-mm, no, girl,’” she recalled, adding, “I was like, ‘We got to pray.’”

This moment reveals not only her nurturing spirit but also her deep-seated beliefs, showing that faith is a significant part of her upbringing.

The conversation naturally shifted to North’s favourite travel destinations. She expressed her love for Japan, describing it as a place where “everything” is appealing, particularly the unique style of its people.

North’s enthusiasm for New York was also apparent, as she praised the vibrant streetwear culture found there. Her keen interest in fashion is further emphasized by her revelation that she is starting her own clothing line, which will be named after herself.

As the interview progressed, North demonstrated remarkable maturity when discussing her aspirations. When asked what she wants to be when she grows up, she responded, “I don’t know, because I already do a lot of stuff that I want to be when I grow up.”

This acknowledgement of her current achievements, combined with her drive to pursue her career now, paints a picture of a young girl who is not only confident but also aware of her potential.
