A former director of intelligence for Kanye West, now known as Ye, has filed a lawsuit against the controversial artist, alleging a series of troubling demands and retaliatory behaviour.
The lawsuit, filed on October 10, details an array of accusations that paint a complex picture of life working under one of the music industry’s most polarizing figures.
The plaintiff referred to as John Doe, claims he was instructed by West to investigate the Kardashian family, alleging their involvement in sex trafficking.

Doe alleges that West specifically tasked him with hiring private investigators to monitor his wife, Bianca Censori, during her visit to family in Australia.
This raises serious ethical concerns regarding privacy and the lengths to which West is willing to go to keep tabs on his personal life.
The lawsuit indicates a pattern of behaviour that appears to blur the lines between celebrity management and invasive surveillance.
The lawsuit also recounts an alarming incident at Donda Academy, where West allegedly reacted with fury after being informed about a case of child abuse.
According to Doe, West screamed at him, “You’re f**king dead to me!” and even played a threatening recording filled with “scary voices.”
Doe is suing West for retaliation and emotional distress, claiming that the experiences have severely impacted his mental health.
He alleges to suffer from panic attacks and anxiety, alongside exacerbated PTSD stemming from his military service.

This is particularly poignant, as many service members struggle with mental health challenges upon returning to civilian life.
In addition to seeking compensation for emotional distress, the plaintiff is looking to recover unpaid wages from his final pay periods at Yeezy, where he was initially hired as a “deputy campaign director” before being promoted to “director of intelligence.”
