Stonebwoy has shared a cryptic post that seems to aim at longtime rival Shatta Wale, hinting that their fiery feud is far from over.
In the post, Stonebwoy wrote, “My matter dey for their mouth, and them dey carry me like abele kotoku. Oleku!”—a phrase suggesting that people obsess over him without reason.
The indirect response comes just after Shatta Wale’s recent appearance on Rants, Bants, and Confessions on Glitch Africa, where he openly criticized Stonebwoy for what he called “cheap gigs” in America, reportedly paying as low as $5,000 to $7,000.
Shatta expressed disappointment, claiming such fees undermine the stature of Ghanaian artists on the global stage, and implied that Stonebwoy is “selling himself short” simply to gain attention abroad.
Shatta’s critique went further, as he took a swipe at Stonebwoy’s looks, calling him “swollen-headed” over his recent successes.

But Stonebwoy’s response—another line reading, “Why waste time to reply a poor fool? It’s too much stress… all they need is the attention, not the answer!”—suggests he’s unmoved by Shatta’s words, choosing to dismiss them as mere noise.
This back-and-forth marks yet another chapter in their heated rivalry, where Shatta’s insistence on financial prestige contrasts with Stonebwoy’s focus on carving out his own path.
The tension between these two Ghanaian icons, both international stars with loyal fan bases, is a reminder of the complex dynamics at play in the music industry.
While Shatta Wale upholds high-value deals as a measure of success, Stonebwoy seems content with his trajectory, choosing to engage on his terms and keeping fans and critics guessing with every post.
