Former manager of Shatta Wale, Lawrence Asiamah Hanson, popularly known as Bullgod, has declared Stonebwoy as Ghana’s most prominent musical export in recent times.
According to Bullgod, Stonebwoy’s influence on both local and global stages has solidified his position as the top act representing Ghana internationally.
Bullgod made these remarks at Stonebwoy’s album listening party on Wednesday, October 24, 2024, where the Afro-Dancehall and Reggae star unveiled his much-anticipated 6th studio album titled Up & Running.

The event, held at the luxurious Alora Beach Resort on Laboma Beach in Accra, attracted a star-studded audience from Ghana’s entertainment circles.
Among the high-profile guests were celebrated actress Nadia Buari, television icon Nana Ama McBrown, rapper Kwaw Kese, and award-winning musician D-Black, all of whom were present to show their support for Stonebwoy’s latest project.
The album, which features the chart-topping hit Jejereje, has already garnered significant attention.
In his comments during the event, Bullgod, who once managed Shatta Wale, heaped praise on Stonebwoy for his relentless work ethic and global appeal. He explained that while many Ghanaian artists are making international waves, none have matched Stonebwoy’s level of success.
“These days, when we try to push our artists globally, management has to go through various clearances. So far, Stonebwoy is our biggest export,” Bullgod stated.
He further acknowledged the efforts of other artists but made it clear that Stonebwoy stands out due to his consistency and the undeniable impact his music continues to make on the international scene.
