Micheal Jordan Was Horrible- Scottie Pippen Shares In An Interview

Following a remark against LeBron James, former NBA star Scottie Pippen made one about his former Chicago Bulls teammate Michael Jordan.

The storied 1990s Bulls squad, which included Pippen and Jordan, won six NBA Championships, including two three-peats. The Netflix documentary The Last Dance, which was released in 2020, detailed the history of the Chicago dynasty.

Pippen was a guest on the YouTube podcast “Gimme The Hot Sauce” hosted by Stacey King. It was at this point that the former Bulls player would seem to take a shot at Jordan, calling him “horrible” in the process.

“I’ve seen Michael Jordan play before I came to play with the Bulls,” said Pippen. “You guys seen him play, he was a horrible player. He was horrible to play with, he was all one-on-one, he’s shooting bad shots. All of a sudden, we become a team and we start winning, everybody forgot who he was.”

Pippen continued by discussing James and whether or not the Lakers star should be regarded as an all-time great of the sport. The 38-year-old, who has 20 seasons of NBA experience, surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in February to become the league’s all-time leading scorer.

But James hinted that he might decide to retire in the off-season after the Lakers’ loss to the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals. Despite the odds favouring James, Pippen maintains that no single player can be regarded as the greatest to ever play the game.

“LeBron will be the greatest statistical guy to ever play the game of basketball,” Pippen said. “And there’s no comparison to him, none! So, does that make him the greatest player to ever play the game? I’ll leave that out for debating. I don’t believe that there’s a great player because our game is a team game and one player can’t do it.”

Reports emerged earlier in the week that James has been suffering from an ankle injury over the last couple of months. The Lakers star is set to undergo further assessment to determine if surgery is necessary.

Michael Jordan net worth

According to credible sources, Michael Jordan is worth 2 billion USD. Michael Jordan is an American former professional basketball player and businessman. His biography on the official National Basketball Association (NBA) website states: “By acclamation, Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player of all time.”

He participated in fifteen NBA seasons, earning six NBA titles with the Chicago Bulls. Jordan serves as the chairman and primary owner of 23XI Racing in the NASCAR Cup Series as well as the NBA’s Charlotte Hornets. In the 1980s and 1990s, he played a significant role in the globalization of both basketball and the NBA, making him a cultural icon on a grand scale.
