Meet The Ghanaian Musician And Producer Who Created The Song For Kudus’ West Ham Unveiling

A UK-based Ghanaian rapper identified as Guvna B has composed a song to commemorate Mohammed Kudus’s move to West Ham.

The short video saw Kudus draped in a West Ham jersey, while other scenes saw him wrapping a Ghana flag at his back while Guvna B spits dope lyrics to assure fans of West Ham that the Ghanaian star, who was unarguably Ghana’s only bright spot at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, will deliver and live up to the hype.

Mohammed Kudus officially joined West Ham United for a reported fee of €43 million (£36.9 million) over the weekend.

The sum in question comprises an initial payment of €41.5 million, supplemented by €3 million in performance-based add-ons. Kudus has entered into a five-year contract with West Ham United, with the option to extend for an additional 12 months.

Following the completion of his medical examination over the weekend, the player’s transfer process has been finalized. Ajax has confirmed the transfer agreement with West Ham United for Kudus. As per Ajax’s statement, the transfer fee amounts to €43 million, with the potential to increase to €46 million through variable components.

“Ajax and West Ham United FC have reached an agreement on the transfer of Mohammed Kudus to the club from London. The attacking midfielder’s contract at Ajax runs until June 30, 2025. Ajax and West Ham United FC agreed on a € 43 million transfer fee.”

“This amount can increase to € 46 million through variables.”
