During a session on October 15, 2024, Nii Apatu Plange, the lead counsel for Martha Ankomah, informed Justice Forson Agyapong Baah that the intermediary involved in the negotiations had conveyed that LilWin was not prepared to settle.
“We made our proposals to the intermediary, but he later informed us that it did not seem the defendant was ready for settlement, so I will say that settlement could not be achieved,” Plange explained.
The disappointment was palpable as Ankomah’s team expressed their wish for the matter to advance in court.
This legal tussle stems from alleged disparaging remarks made by LilWin about Ankomah, which she claims have harmed her reputation and professional standing.
Justice Baah, upon hearing from Ankomah’s counsel, adjourned the case to November 5, 2024, for the hearing to begin promptly at 8:30 a.m.

He stated, “In the circumstances, the case is adjourned to 5th November 2024, for the hearing to begin at 8:30 a.m. Let hearing notices, along with today’s notes, be issued and served on the defendant.”
