Kudus Is Very Talented- West Ham United Coach Says

West Ham United’s assistant manager, Billy McKinlay, has praised the exceptional talent of Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus, highlighting his seamless integration into the club despite his recent arrival.

Kudus, who joined the Hammers during the 2023 summer transfer window from Ajax on a five-year contract, garnered interest from several other clubs. Although Kudus has made four appearances in the Premier League, all of them as a substitute, concerns have arisen regarding his playing time.

However, McKinlay remains optimistic about Kudus’ potential to make significant contributions to the club, expressing confidence in his abilities after his fourth substitute appearance in the Premier League on Saturday.

“Mohammed Kudus has settled in at the club really well and we can see there is a talented footballer there who cares about his football and wants to come in and contribute,” McKinlay told the club’s Official Website.

“I think we maybe just have to be mindful of the fact it is a really tough league, the Premier League and it’s really difficult to come in and set it alight.”

Mohammed Kudus has made six appearances for West Ham so far, four substitute appearances in the Premier League, and starts in the Europa League and the Carabao Cup
