Popular young West Ham fan Abel Farel has tipped Ghanaian attacker Mohammed Kudus to win the next edition of the coveted FIFA Ballon D’or award.

In an interview following West Ham’s victory over Manchester United on Saturday, the young fan equated the combination of Kudus and Jarrod Bowen at the club to that of Argentina’s Lionel Messi and Brazil’s Neymar during their time at Barcelona.

“Messi and Neymar, I am telling you. They are the next Messi and Neymar; Kudus for Ballon D’Or 2024,” he stated.

Jarrod Bowen opened the score for West Ham in the 72nd minute during the team’s English Premier League home game against United on Saturday, December 23, 2023.

The opening goal was followed by Mohammed Kudus grabbing a second for West Ham who are currently sitting at the 6th position on the league log with 30 points from 18 games played.

Mohammed Kudus has been in spectacular form for West Ham following his move to the club from Ajax at the beginning of the season.

He has scored ten goals for West Ham across all competitions, with six of those goals coming from his appearance in the Premier League.
