Jordan Ayew Continues His Fine Form As He Scores Against West Ham

Jordan Ayew has etched his name into the history books after he became the first Ghanaian to directly contribute 50 Premier League goals following his sublime goal against West Ham on Saturday.

Additionally, Jordan’s international teammates Jeffrey Schlupp also got his name on the score sheet to augment Crystal Palace’s survival quest in the 2022/23 premier league. The game’s equalizer was scored by Jordan in the 15th minute at Selhurst Park after the Hammers had grabbed an early lead.

He has also scored three goals in his last five games for the club after only doing so once in his previous 29. The attacker sprinted after receiving a feed from Michael Olise before beating the West Ham goalie with his effort.

Five minutes later, Wilfried Zaha gave Palace the lead, and Schlupp made it 3-1 to give the Eagles a commanding lead in the match. West Ham attempted a late comeback, but they were unable to gain anything from the game as Palace won 4-3 at home.

How old is Jordan Ayew?

He was born on 11 September 1991. This means he is 31 years old. He is the brother of players André and Ibrahim Ayew and the son of former Ghanaian captain Abedi Pele.

Ayew, who was raised in France and was born in Marseille, began his professional life with Lyon Duchère before enrolling in the Marseille Academy in 2006.

Ayew made his 2010 debut for Ghana and has since amassed over 80 caps. He has participated in five Africa Cup of Nations tournaments (2012, 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2021), helping them place second in 2015. He has also played in two FIFA World Cups (2014 and 2022).
