Former Artiste of the Year winner Joe Mettle has shared with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM an interesting revelation regarding his song Kadosh.
He mentioned that the inspiration for the popular song came from his daughter, and he only realized the profound meaning behind it later on.
Joe Mettle explained that the birth of his daughter catalyzed a divine inspiration.
The versatile gospel artist recounted an encounter with the Holy Spirit, who inquired about his daughter’s purity.
He said when the Holy Spirit spoke to him about his child’s purity, he recalled, “Do you think this child is pure? And I said yes, her purity cannot be compared to mine and how Holy I am.”
Joe Mettle caused a stir recently when he disclosed that iconic rapper Sarkodie had once approached him for a potential collaboration.
However, he said he respectfully declined the offer, explaining that he was not inclined to collaborate with secular artists as far as entertainment in Ghana is concerned at the moment.
According to Joe Mettle, he has not received any spiritual guidance to engage in such endeavours at this time.
He shared this insight during an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM, emphasizing that his decision is firmly supported by the Holy Spirit.
Joe Mettle further expressed his willingness to obey if the Holy Spirit directs him otherwise.
