It’s Now Official, Hary Kane Signed By Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has officially signed for Bayern Munich on a four-year deal, the two teams confirmed.

The 30-year-old striker has signed until 2027, according to Bayern, who will begin their season against RB Leipzig later on Saturday in the Super Cup.

The agreement followed lengthy negotiations between the two teams. Following weeks of negotiations, ESPN claimed on Thursday that Spurs have accepted an offer for the 30-year-old player for more than €100 million ($110m). Later, on Friday, Kane received a clean bill of health.

Kane, who was eager to have his future resolved before the start of the Premier League season this weekend, had just one year remaining on his contract at Tottenham.

“I’m very happy to be a part of FC Bayern now,” the England captain said on the club’s official website. “Bayern is one of the biggest clubs in the world, and I’ve always said that I want to compete and prove myself at the highest level during my career. This club is defined by its winning mentality — it feels very good to be here.”

Kane has a four-year deal and, if registering in time to play at the Allianz Arena, may make his Bayern debut against RB Leipzig in the German Super Cup.
