The longstanding feud between celebrated Kumawood actors Mr. Beautiful and Agya Koo has been a topic of discussion for years, with many attributing their fallout to political differences.

However, fellow actor Wayoosi has offered a different perspective, shedding light on the origins of their rift.

In a candid interview on Kumasi-based RTV Ghana, Wayoosi dismissed the idea that politics fueled the disagreement. “The feud between the two of them is not just about politics; it is also about disrespect. I can’t say who disrespected who, but it is about disrespect,” he explained.

According to Wayoosi, the tension began during a film production when preferential treatment towards one actor caused friction.

“It started when some producers on the set began treating one person better than the other.

The other person felt disrespected. That’s where the feud began. It’s not about politics,” he revealed.

The revelation adds depth to a narrative often framed solely around the political allegiances of the two actors.

Agya Koo has been vocal about his support for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), while Mr. Beautiful is known for aligning with the National Democratic Congress (NDC). This contrast in political affiliations has long been seen as the primary source of their fallout.
