Actor Mr. Beautiful has disclosed how Agya Koo switched his political allegiance from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) during a discussion with reggae artist and radio host Blakk Rasta.
He characterized Agya Koo and his other celebs who ditched the NDC for NPP as ‘stomach politicians’ during the interview on Urban Blend conducted on 3FM.
He recalled an incident where Agya Koo was barred by the police from visiting Lordina at her home, which provoked the actor.
Mr. Beautiful elaborated that this incident deeply affected Agya Koo, prompting him to abandon the NDC in favour of the NPP.
He also noted that several other celebrities have distanced themselves from the NDC since it entered opposition, although he remains a supporter.
He remarked that Agya Koo’s behaviour indicated that his loyalty was both fragile and conditional, highlighting the close relationship Agya Koo had with Mahama, including their formal and personal discussions at Mahama’s residence.
