In an interview on Adom TV, he highlighted the responsibilities of both individuals and authorities in ensuring the safety of juveniles on the road.
“We must make sure juveniles are not driving,” Kwabena stated, referring to a viral video of a young man driving recklessly on social media.
“The video the young man posted driving was all over his social media, meanwhile, we have the police department responsible for monitoring what happens on social media. This indicates that the laws in the country only work on the weak and poor.”
His comments come in the wake of an accident that has drawn public attention and outrage, prompting discussions about road safety and the enforcement of existing laws. Kwabena urged Ghanaians to reflect on the incident, shifting the focus from mockery to learning and prevention.
“This is a situation from which we can all learn, rather than mock the family. It can happen to anyone, so we must work to prevent such tragedies in the future.”
