Athletic Bilbao’s Ghanaian forward, Inaki Williams, has been nominated for the prestigious La Liga Player of the Month award for September.
Williams delivered exceptional performances, contributing to five goals across four matches, with one goal and four assists to his name.
Over 285 minutes of play, Williams also completed 69 successful passes, proving instrumental in Bilbao’s success during this period.
The competition for the award is fierce, with Williams facing off against elite players such as Kylian Mbappe from Real Madrid, Lamine Yamal of Barcelona, Carlos Vicente of Alaves, and Giovani Lo Celso from Real Betis.
In addition to his club performances, Williams is expected to play a crucial role for Ghana in the upcoming AFCON 2025 qualifiers next month, as the Black Stars prepare for their doubleheader against Sudan.
