If Ghana Could Not Score Against Chad, They Would Be Dissolve – MC Yaa Yeboah Mocks Victory

Media personality and entertainment pundit, MC Yaa Yeboah, has urged Ghanaians to temper their excitement following the Black Stars’ emphatic 5-0 victory over Chad in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Speaking on United Showbiz on UTV, she described the win as expected, emphasizing that it was nothing extraordinary.

“The events leading up to the match and the videos on social media helped spark the interest of the fans. The team also did a good job during the match. But we shouldn’t be too excited. There was nothing extraordinary about the match,” she remarked.

She further questioned the significance of the victory, arguing that any competent team should be able to score against Chad with ease.

“If Ghana could not score against Chad, they would be dissolved. Because who has played against Chad and not been able to score?” she quizzed.

According to MC Yaa Yeboah, while the 5-0 result is commendable, it should not be a cause for celebration as Ghana still has tougher matches ahead.

“Chad is not a tough team. It’s good we won by 5-0. But there is nothing extraordinary about the win. So we don’t have to be celebrating. There are tougher matches ahead.”

Drawing a comparison to school report cards, she stressed that the Black Stars still have a long way to go.

“It is like the report cards the teacher writes at the end of the school year. There is more room for improvement. We haven’t reached anywhere yet,” she added.

MC Yaa Yeboah advised that the team should focus on playing and winning against bigger opponents before Ghanaians can confidently say the team has improved.

“Let us play bigger matches, then we can brag that we have arrived,” she stated.

Black Stars Regain Momentum After AFCON Disappointment

The Black Stars’ victory over Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium comes as a much-needed boost following the heartbreak of failing to qualify for the next edition of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), which will be hosted by Morocco. Ghana’s failure to secure a single win in the AFCON qualifiers left fans deeply disappointed.

While the 5-0 triumph breathes life into Ghana’s World Cup qualifying campaign, MC Yaa Yeboah’s remarks serve as a reminder that the real test lies ahead.
