Ghanaian dancehall artist Shatta Wale has once again debunked claims of a rivalry with fellow musician Stonebwoy, emphasizing their shared heritage and mutual respect.
Speaking during an appearance on Fakye TV, Shatta expressed his admiration for the Bhim Nation boss, dismissing suggestions that there is bad blood between them.
“Stonebwoy is my brother. We are both from the Volta Region,” Shatta Wale said. “I don’t know why the media wants to create a beef between us. I love him so much, and I will go out of my way to support him in any way I can. I have never had a problem with him and I never will.”

The relationship between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy has been a subject of public scrutiny for years, often characterized by moments of tension and reconciliation.
Most notably, their infamous clash at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) made headlines after a misunderstanding led to a physical altercation on stage.
Despite the fallout, the two artists publicly reconciled later that year at a peace conference, promising to work towards unity in the industry.
Shatta Wale’s recent comments reinforce the idea that any lingering tension is fueled by media narratives rather than actual animosity. He attributed the so-called rivalry to a tendency within the entertainment industry to pit successful artists against each other.
Over the years, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy have both contributed significantly to putting Ghanaian music on the global map.
