I Want To Work As Security Officer Abroad – Bukom Banku

, Ghana Street Journal

Bukom Banku has expressed his desire to work as a security officer and permanently leave Ghana due to the current economic situation.

He believes that as a celebrity, it would be more advantageous for him to seek employment abroad, as he fears being ridiculed by Ghanaians if he looks for work within the country.

He believes that working as a security officer in Ghana, particularly at a location like Marina Mall, will subject him to significant mockery. However, if he were to pursue a similar position overseas, he would be treated with respect rather than ridicule by the people there.

“When I am made a security at Marina Mall people will come and laugh at me. But if I leave Ghana and work elsewhere, I will be respected when I return,” he said.

Bukom Banku added that if he ever gets the opportunity to go to places like London or Canada, it would be a mistake to return, as he would prefer to work there and earn good money.

“When your money is about finishing, you should rather some and leave this country. When I am made a security at marina mall people will come and laugh at me. But if I leave Ghana and work elsewhere, I will be respected when I return,” he said.

He continued “If I go to London right now I will not come back. Take me to Canada I will go and be a security man there, I won’t come back”.

On whether he will support John Dramani Mahama during his campaign, he answered in affirmative but insisted that he will leave Ghana if given the opportunity.
