Ghanaian musician Fameye has opened up about the controversial incident surrounding his performance in London, expressing his regret and offering his reflections on the matter.

Speaking with popular radio host Andy Dosty, Fameye shared his thoughts on the fallout from the event, which had attracted significant attention due to his outburst during the show.

“I prefer not to delve too much into it,” Fameye said, responding to inquiries about the performance and the heated exchange that followed. “After DJ Chos spoke to the media, I feel like that chapter is closed. I’ve given it some thought, and I’ve decided it’s time to let it go.”

The incident in question took place during Fameye’s performance at the Dominion Centre in Wood Green, London, where he reportedly clashed with DJ Chos, the event’s official disc jockey.

Following the altercation, Fameye made strong remarks about the show’s management, creating a buzz on social media.

However, the DJ’s management team, Chos Media, quickly issued a statement addressing the incident, apologizing to fans for the disappointment caused by the technical issues that plagued the event.

Reflecting on his actions, Fameye admitted that his reaction may not have been appropriate under the circumstances. “I might have overreacted or mishandled things,” he admitted candidly. “But at the end of the day, I’m human, and I can make mistakes.”

The musician’s decision to own up to the situation, despite the emotions that led to his outburst, highlights his maturity and desire to move forward.

Fameye further explained that he had no intention of holding on to negativity, stressing that he wanted to focus on the future rather than dwelling on past mistakes.

“I’ve learned a lot from this experience, and I’m just trying to move forward in a positive way,” Fameye said. “Sometimes things don’t go as planned, but we have to take responsibility and keep pushing. I don’t want this to define me.”
