Nana Ama McBrown began by reflecting on her childhood in Kwadaso, where she first met Bishop Salifu Amoako. “He was more than just a pastor to me; he was like family,” she recalled.

“In those days, he was an elder who moved closely with my uncles and other elder relatives. I’ve known him long before he stepped into the role of a pastor.”

The actress went on to share how the bishop played a significant role in her life, even encouraging her to attend his church during a pivotal time in her career. “He supported me in ways that I can’t even begin to describe,” McBrown added, her voice filled with gratitude.

The focus of the discussion shifted to the recent tragic accident involving Elrad Amoako, which has garnered widespread attention and criticism.

McBrown urged the public to show understanding and empathy toward Bishop Amoako, who is undoubtedly facing immense pain and sorrow.

“This is a very painful situation for him,” she expressed. “While we should call for justice and ensure that the law takes its course, we must also recognize that he is a human being going through a tremendous loss.”

She cautioned against the rush to judgment, as many have been quick to criticize the bishop amidst the turmoil.

“We mustn’t demonize him completely,” she said firmly. “He is hurting just like any parent would be in this situation. Let’s remember that compassion should be at the forefront of our discussions.”
