Thomas Partey’s goal against rivals Tottenham Hotspurs has been adjudged Arsenal’s goal of the year 2022.

Arsenal supporters chose the 29-year-spectacular old’s goal against Tottenham in the English Premier League as their goal of the season so far.

The Ghanaian international’s goal surpassed that of Granit Xhaka’s goal against Manchester United. Essentially, his other goal in the league against Nottingham Forest was also on the list for consideration.

“Thomas Partey’s excellent long-range strike against Tottenham Hotspur has been selected as our best strike from 2022 by our supporters. The Ghanaian midfielder topped the poll with 51 per cent of the votes for his wonderful first-time finish to put us in front on derby day, and set us up for a 3-1 win,” wrote the club on their official website.

The former Atletico Madrid star is enjoying a good season at Arsenal, playing a pivotal role in the Gunners’ impressive campaign. In the meantime, the season has been awesome for the Gunners a they seek to clinch their first premier league title after 19 years.
