Ghanaian Footballer Dies After Sustaining Head Injury During Training

A Ghanaian footballer who plies his professional trade for Tamale Vision Football Club, Iddrisu Shaban tragically lost his life after succumbing to injuries sustained from a fall, reports SportsworldGhana.

Despite all efforts by health personnel at the Tamale Teaching Hospital, Shaban, renowned for his exceptional skills and unwavering commitment on the field, could not overcome the severe head injury he suffered.

The club released a statement expressing its sorrow over the loss.

“We are extremely saddened to announce the tragic death of Iddrisu Shaban, a much-loved player, member, and friend of the Vision family. Our hearts, minds and prayers go out to his Dad, his Mom and all of the family and friends whose worlds have been turned upside down by their loss.,”

The young player, adored by both his teammates and fans, demonstrated his skills mere days before his unfortunate passing, notably aiding his team in securing a victory against Tamale Dreams FC with an assist and an exceptional performance.
