The African Basketball Festival took place on Friday at the Bukom Boxing Arena. Ghana beat Nigeria 33-32 to win the title. A few Ghanaian and Nigerian basketball players who resided in Ghana participated in the interesting contest, which was played under floodlights.

The match was held in Ghana. The game was won by Ghana with a single-point difference, earning them bragging rights over their West African counterparts. Before the game between Ghana and Nigeria, the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) squad, who were a late replacement for the USA select side, beat France 33-30.

After the French got off to a quick start, the GIS squad fought from behind to steal a win. At the next game, the victor will give away their money to a selected orphanage.

RITE Sports, operating under the aegis of the Beyond the Return Committee, planned and executed the festival.

Beautiful Beneath, Bloom by Edzi, and Elikem Kumordzi put on a fashion display, and there was a musical performance too.

Yaw Sakyi, CEO of RITE Sports, was pleased with the outcome.

“Overall, we’re pleased with the efforts of the teams, authorities, and collaborators involved. After witnessing the enthusiasm produced by the second edition, we are certain that next year, with more nations participating, it will even be more exciting, interesting, and rewarding for both teams and consumers due to the increased number of days of prolonged competition “.
