Former Black Stars Goalkeeper Razak Braimah And Spanish Wife Renew Vows

Razak Braimah, a former goalkeeper for the Black Stars, recently reaffirmed his unwavering devotion to his wife Kalme Braimah as the two marked their wedding anniversary with a lovely ceremony held in Spain.

In front of their children and other close family members, Brimah and his wife repeated their vows in Spain exactly one year after performing the Islamic marriage procedures in Ghana.

An overjoyed Braimah was spotted strolling hand in hand with his wife and their gorgeous daughter at the ceremony while sporting a stylish grey suit. The touching event demonstrated their enduring love and devotion to one another.

With his union with Kalme, Braimah joins the ranks of Ghanaian football players who have married foreigners. Striker Samuel Tetteh recently got married to his South Sudanese-German girlfriend in a grandiose ceremony in Accra.

The Accra-born Razak began his professional career in January 2007 with Portugal’s G.D. Chaves, competing in the country’s Segunda Liga, after seldom settling as a young player.

When Madeira’s C.F. Unio finished second in their regional group the next year, he moved down to the third level and joined them, however without receiving a final promotion.

On August 14, 2013, Razak got his first of 27 Ghanaian caps by substituting in the 46th minute of Ghana’s 2-2 friendly tie with Turkey. He was a member of the team that competed in the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, starting as the country advanced to the final. In the pivotal encounter against the Ivory Coast, he missed his penalty shot in the shootout, which resulted in a 9-8 loss.

In the 2017 race, in which Gabon finished in fourth position, Razak also made his debut. He received a $2,500 punishment from the Ghana Football Association after posting a video on Facebook that was seen as disrespectful to his countrymen in response to criticism of his performances.
