A startling incident unfolded in Amasaman, a community in the Greater Accra Region, as a man in his 40s was apprehended in the act of allegedly attempting to murder his wife using black magic.
He is also said to have sought to harm his in-laws, with plans to break his in-law’s leg, and charm his stepson residing in Canada into relinquishing his properties.
A video shared by Kofi TV on social media shows the man seated in a shrine, brandishing a knife beside a pot containing a suspicious red substance, presumably blood. Pictures of his intended victims were displayed before him.

In the video, the man confessed to his sinister intentions under questioning from those who caught him. He openly admitted his plans to harm his relatives to gain control of his stepson’s assets.
“I’m here to use black magic on them,” he confessed, addressing his nefarious scheme.
The alarming scene captured the man chanting incantations, invoking his wife’s name, Yaa Felicia, with chilling intentions of inflicting harm.
The situation escalated as the fetish priest present denounced the man’s actions, affirming his commitment to saving lives, not ending them. Consequently, the priest reported the incident to the Amasaman Division of the Ghana Police Service.
With the assistance of the priest and others, a plan was devised to apprehend the suspect in the act. The authorities successfully executed the plan, leading to the man’s arrest as he attempted to carry out his dangerous agenda.
