Prophet Nigel Gaisie, the founder and leader of Prophetic Hill Chapel, recently opened up about the challenges and human aspects of his prophetic calling.
During an interview on Daybreak Hitz, he candidly shared that while he strives to be accurate, he does sometimes get prophecies wrong. “I sometimes get my prophecies wrong. That makes me a human being,” he admitted. “Every prophet that gets it 100% is fake.”

He explained that even the most gifted prophets are subject to mistakes, as God sometimes allows them to misinterpret certain signs to remind them of their humanity.
“Sometimes God will twist your mouth, and your lips to make a mistake so that you, the vessel, will know that you are a human being,” he continued.
For Prophet Gaisie, maintaining emotional and spiritual sharpness is crucial in his work. He emphasized the importance of guarding one’s emotions, as they could cloud spiritual discernment.
“My emotions are very important to me because I can see red and misinterpret it,” he explained, underscoring that the environment around a prophet plays a big role in their accuracy.
Despite this, Prophet Gaisie’s faith in his calling remains unshaken. He recalled a powerful experience when he was used by God to raise a man from the dead, a moment he believed solidified his mission and connection to the divine.

In the unpredictable world of prophecy, Gaisie’s openness about his flaws is a reminder that even spiritual leaders are not infallible, but they remain vessels through which the divine works.
“We don’t like disturbances,” he added, speaking about the need for quiet and focus in his line of work, emphasizing that sometimes errors are part of the spiritual journey to growth and understanding.
