I’m Too Busy To Have Friends—Nigel Gaisie Denies Being John Kumah’s Friend

Prophet Nigel Gaisie has clarified to John Kumah’s widow that her late husband was not as close to him as she had previously stated during an interview on Asaase radio.

During his Jabez Cry live broadcast on Facebook, the founder and head of Prophetic Hill Chapel refuted allegations made by Lilian Kumah that he had used personal information obtained from the deceased, whom she claimed was a dear friend, to make a prophecy about his passing.

“The point is that the late John Kumah was not my friend; he was a son. I don’t have friends; I am too busy I don’t even know how to keep friends. I am always indoors. So the late John Kumah, a very honourable man, he was not my friend.

“So Lilian get it. You and your husband, you were my daughter, I poured oil on you. You have knelt before me and I have all the pictures, I have all the videos and if you dare say it is not true, I will just allow my media team to blow all these things on the internet,” he stated.

Nigel Gaisie also affirmed the accuracy of his prediction. He explained the encounter with the Kumah family and how their relationship soured due to a political prophecy.

Lilian and Nigel Gaisie, whom she referred to as family friends, are at odds following the death of the Deputy Minister of Information and Member of Parliament for Ejisu.

It started after a video resurfaced showing Gaisie predicting Kumah’s death, leading to claims that he is a genuine man of God. However, Lilian, the wife of the deceased politician, has spoken out against Gaisie in a recent interview on Asaase Radio.

She revealed that True Word Prophetic Ministry International was a close family friend and had intimate knowledge of her husband’s terminal illness, which Gaisie allegedly used to make his prophecy.

Lilian Kumah stated that upon learning of Gaisie’s actions, they immediately severed ties with him.

“Nigel Gaisie was like a brother. He knows my late husband, lawyer John Kumah personally, one-on-one. We have sat in this house and eaten together several times. That is how far we go.

When he came from abroad to start a church in Ghana, he came to my church, Disciples of Christ Ministries and I did a programme with him dubbed “Let the Prophet Speak”.

“We know him very well and have been aware since November 2023 that the late John Kumah was seriously sick. My husband had a lot of respect for men of Ghana in this country and that included Nigel Gaisie when my husband and I thought he was a genuine man of God,” Apostle Lilian Kumah stated.

“Nigel Gaisie knew very well that my husband was terminally ill as far back as August 2023 but regardless of that, he stood on his altar on 31st December 2023 to lie through his supposed prophesy that a Ghanaian deputy minister will die in the year 2024. What does he want to achieve through these fake prophesies?” John Kumah’s widow questioned.
