Ghanaian musician Fameye has extended a heartfelt apology to DJs nationwide, acknowledging past misunderstandings and emphasizing their critical role in his performances.
Speaking candidly on Hitz FM’s “Daybreak Hitz” show with Andy Dosty, Fameye admitted his perfectionist tendencies may have caused friction in the past but expressed his desire to mend relationships with the DJ community.

“I want to use this opportunity to tell all Ghanaian DJs that I am sorry,” he said, his voice carrying a tone of sincerity.
“Normally, I feel like every show depends on a DJ. And if something goes wrong with a DJ while on stage, it negatively affects me because I am more of a perfectionist. But I apologise to all DJs.”
The “Nothing I Get” hitmaker’s comments come after years of building a reputation as one of Ghana’s most meticulous performers.
This quality has endeared him to fans but occasionally led to tension with those he works with behind the scenes. Fameye’s perfectionism, while a driving force for his success, has sometimes resulted in frustration when technical issues arise during live shows.

“Sometimes, it’s not even the DJ’s fault,” he admitted. “It could be a problem with equipment or even miscommunication. But as an artist, you’re focused on delivering a great performance in the heat of the moment, and it’s easy to misplace blame.”
