Diddy Dismisses Poisoning Fears, Continues Eating Standard Jail Meals at MDC

Despite earlier claims suggesting he was avoiding food out of fear of being poisoned, music mogul Sean Diddy Combs is reportedly unconcerned about his meals while in custody.

On Thursday, September 26, TMZ confirmed through sources close to Diddy that he has been consuming standard jail food like any other inmate at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn.

Earlier reports from various media outlets hinted that Diddy was refraining from eating, fearing for his safety.

However, the source clarified that he does not harbour such concerns and is continuing with his daily meals while residing in the Special Housing Unit, segregated from the general inmate population.

Diddy has been detained at MDC Brooklyn since his arrest on September 17, facing serious charges including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation for prostitution.

Denied bail twice, the judge labelled him a “danger” to the community, ensuring his stay at the notorious federal facility until his trial.

The detention centre, infamous for its harsh conditions and described by the Associated Press as “hell on earth,” has long been criticized for its inhumane treatment of inmates since the 1990s.

While in custody, Diddy is subject to strict confinement conditions, allowing him just three showers per week and one hour of outdoor exercise each day.
