Daniel Amartey has blessed a Ghanaian man with a car for showing kindness when he was a nobody.

Saddick Adams of Angel FM provided this update by saying the beneficiary of Amartey’s gesture was a neighbourhood coach who used to educate kids like Daniel Amartey to aspire for greatness.

Apparently, the coach decided to purchase mashed kenkey for the young Amartey on a fateful day in particular because he was moved by his performance on that particular occasion.

Amartey was at the moment extremely hungry and had nothing to eat, so the food that was given to him turned out to be a life-saving act.

As a result, Amartey was still moved by the gesture and made the decision to thank his teacher 12 years later by giving him a Toyota Vitz.

The Leicester City striker’s representatives are seen giving the car to the man in the presentation video, who is clearly overcome with delight.

Amartey started out playing for the second-tier club International Allies in Ghana where he was spotted as a sixteen-year-old by Magnus Pehrsson who was on a scouting trip in Africa during his preparation to take over as manager of Djurgårdens IF.

Amartey’s transfer rights were acquired by Pehrsson when he took over as manager the day he turned 18. Amartey was brought over by the club for brief stays in 2011 and 2012, where he had the opportunity to play for the club’s U21 side, in order to help him get ready for his upcoming permanent move to Sweden in 2013.
