Cristiano Ronaldo Set to Sign- 7-Year Mega Deal With Saudi Club, Al-Nassr

Multiple sources online have linked Cristiano Ronaldo to signing a seven-year deal with Al-Nassr which includes an increase in his €200m pay packet after 2024.

Recall that this rumour became rife during the 2022 World Cup held in Qatar which was eventually won by Argentina after an epic clash with defending champions France but it seems it’s going to be a reality after all.

Ronaldo has been a free agent since his contract with Manchester United expired on November 22. The legendary Portuguese player who endured torrid money at the World Cup will reportedly sign a two-year contract with the Saudi organization, but Marca reports that the deal will now last until 2030.

After his playing career at the club concludes in 2024, according to the Spanish daily, Ronaldo will take on an ambassador role at Al-Nassr, where he would also periodically see an increase in his €200 million annual salary.

It’s expected that Ronaldo will use his iconic status in helping Saudi Arabia’s bid for 2030 World Cup hosting duties alongside Egypt and Greece.

In all this, Ronaldo is yet to speak publicly about this development. He has previously mentioned that he would like to remain in Europe, and the likes of Napoli and Bayern Munich have been mooted as alternative destinations.
